MEET DONCI
A faith made personal.
A hope worth sharing.
My name is Donci Tshibangu. I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and I am a student doctor. Before any title, I am a follower of Jesus Christ—still learning what it means to walk with Him honestly, faithfully, and one day at a time.
I was baptized at twelve in 2016. That day, I believed in and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, committing to follow Him and identify with His death, burial, and resurrection. That commitment remains the center of my life—now with a deeper understanding of what it means to surrender, to study, and to keep walking when the way forward is not obvious.
When faith became personal
The past few years have brought changes and seasons I could not control. Some moments asked me to carry more than I felt ready to hold. Others forced me to slow down and reconsider what I had built my life upon. I will not reduce those experiences to a list of details. Their lasting effect is clearer: they taught me that borrowed conviction cannot sustain a life, and that grace meets us most honestly when the ground beneath us moves.
In that process, God drew me back to Scripture. I began asking questions I had avoided: What do I believe? Why do I believe it? Can my faith stand when it is examined carefully, prayed over sincerely, and measured against the Word of God?
A faith I can stand inside
That search became a deeper study of the Bible. It was not perfectly consistent or easy. I had to return after distraction, face difficult questions, and learn to remain teachable. Yet the work changed me. Faith became less about repeating what I had heard and more about knowing the God I was seeking through His Word.
I do not claim to have every answer, and I do not want a faith that depends on pretending I do. I want to keep studying, praying, and growing. I believe the Bible is truth, and I am grateful for every opportunity to delight in God’s Word and share what I am learning with others.
“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast.”Hebrews 6:19 · KJV
For the next generation
Anchored by Grace Ministries grew out of a desire to help young people and young adults navigate life with the hope of the Gospel. The younger generations need more than information. They need someone willing to listen, offer wise guidance, and remind them that their lives carry purpose.
Across backgrounds and denominations, my goal is to point people to Christ while supporting them as they navigate faith, habits, education, work, and the future. Through this ministry and its YouTube channel, I hope to offer honest reflections, useful encouragement, and a place where people can keep returning to Scripture.
This is not a finished story. It is a life still being formed by grace. My prayer is that what I share will help you seek God for yourself, grow in His Word, and discover the steady hope we have in Christ.
